Dear Samantha – I just wanted to say a big thank you for your help in getting us settled in Geneva! We love our new house and neighborhood – the kids are beyond happy with the garden! We appreciate all your hard work in finding our home and for taking care of all the aspects that would have been difficult for us with our limited French like arranging viewing appointments, communicating with our landlord, entrance inspections and legal paperwork. It gave us great peace of mind to have you represent us in getting utilities, internet and TV setup (a nightmare even when you are trying to do it in your mother tongue!) and you were very kind offering to assist with car leasing and registration, insurance and more – the complete relocation package! You have extensive local knowledge and contacts and are a wealth of information about Geneva/Switzerland which has helped us understand various cultural aspects of our new home town and country.

We hired Samantha to help us find an apartment after moving to Geneva from the United States. This was a hard decision because we usually prefer to do these sorts of things ourselves. However, the market for rental housing in Geneva is extremely tight and the rules and procedures are quite different from many other places. It turned out that hiring Samantha was definitely the right thing to do.
Samantha was very helpful throughout the entire processing, from searching to move-in. She gave us a great overview of the housing situation in the area and recommended neighborhoods that fit our search criteria. She set up many apartment viewings for us, and took care of submitting application dossiers on our behalf. When we found a place that we particularly liked, she followed up with the régie and kept us informed.
After we were selected for an apartment, Samantha reviewed the lease with us (which was in French only) and explained what the various parts meant. This gave us confidence that we were entering into a fair agreement. Samantha also worked with the régie to schedule our move in, and was present to help us during the move-in inspection. We especially appreciated the little things she did, like advise us on child care in the area, help transfer our Internet service, and notify the mairie of our arrival.
